Picasso’s quote is one of our favorites here at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. The power of art to restore and transform people of all ages is why we show up each day in support of TPAC’s mission. But we are also inspired by the diverse and dynamic world of art outside our doors.

So we created SPOTlight, a blog where we can shine a light on those other things – from art to music; film to live theatre; Nashville to national trends – that can influence and enrich our lives.

The Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) is a private, non-profit corporation dedicated to providing and supporting the presentation of the performing arts to the citizens of Tennessee. TPAC's mission is to provide a lifetime of meaningful and relevant experiences in the performing arts.
